Building the best gaming pc, you do not have to select the best graphics card only but processor is more important than that. If you think I am wrong, then I have my logic. A good graphics card cannot unlock it’s full potential if not used on a decent cpu.

If you think you can use a gtx 980 on a Amd X4 860K which costs around $75 only, then you will see how your cpu is bottlenecking your graphics card. Instead of getting 60+fps, you will get 40 or 50. And that’s all because of the cpu you are using.

If you use a good cpu first then you can use any graphics card according to your budget and the capability your cpu has. So, I am going to mention the best processors for gaming for every budget both from Intel and Amd.

1. Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary edition

Price=Rs6,300($69.99)

This processor is the cheapest gaming processor from Intel. Best suited for a budget build of $300 to $400. With this processor you can expect a huge performance out of the box. Even if it is just pentium processor which only costs $70, it outperforms every Amd processor that comes under $100.

It is totally unlocked and you can overclock it massively. The core clock of this cpu is 3.2Ghz and with a custom Cooler Like Cooler Master hyper 212 EVO or better you can overclock it upto 4.7Ghz with stabillity. In many games it give a tough competition to higher end core i5’s and i7’s like Tomb Raider 2013 as it based on the same Haswell architecture as Core i5’s and core i7’s.

But it only gives that much performance when you overclock it. Without any overclocking you will be observing that it gets beaten my amd processors like X4 750K etc. But when overclocked more than 4.5Ghz, it gives almost equal performance to i7’s in games like Crysis 3.

2. Intel Core i5 4690k

Another badass processor which is based on the same Haswell architecture is the Core i5 4690K. Remember when a “K” is added to a processor name it means that it is unlocked and an unlocked processor is considered as the best processor for gaming as you can boost your performance more than 10%.

This processor is the 4th generation core i5 cpu which is unlocked to be overclocked upto 4.7Ghz and has actually much better specs. It has 4 cores and 4 threads which make intensive applications to be run on it easily. With 4 cores you can run any game on it as there is no game that requires more than 4 cores.

3. Intel Core i5 6600k

Price=Rs19,800($264.21)

This is the latest Skylake based sixth generation Intel core i5 processor which is considered as the best power efficient processor. It uses LGA socket 1151 motherboards and supports ddr4 memories too. When compared to the i5 4690k it beats it in overall performance. The per watt performance and the power efficiency is higher than the previous generation i5’s.

In applications like Cinebench and Compubench, it completely destroys the i5 4690K giving upto more than double performance in Compubench 1.5 (Bitcoin mining) and upto 40% more fps in CompuBench 1.5 (Video composition).

This processor is a very good choice for future proofing your system as not only it will support any high end graphics card but it also opens doors for ddr4 builds which are faster and more power efficient. The only thing is that it costs much more than the previous generations i5’s otherwise there are other processors of sixth generation which cost less than 200 dollars but are not considered as the best processors for gaming because they are not unlocked.

Hi guys today i will show you the best budget GPU to play  your game at 1080p or at least at 720p with medium to high settings. If you have a budget of RS 8000($70) to Rs 15,000 ($150), then you can have decent gaming experience at a tight budget. As newer graphics cards are being released from both Nvidia and AMD, they support the latest directX 12 and have good compatibilities with the latest skylake processors and windows 10 which makes them a good choice for newest titles.

I have listed down the best budget entry level graphics card which are meant for gaming at 1080p with a little bit of compromise. These graphics cards are best for a budget builds and will provide you at least 30+fps without breaking your bank. I have used every listed graphics card in one build or another. So must check out them.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card

PRICE=Rs 8K ($99)

 

This is the cheapest graphics card that can play your games at 720p or higher on medium settings. It has 2gb of gddr5 memory which is enough for 720p and higher resolutions. You will be able to bump up the settings a little bit higher like shadows, anti-aliasing and textures which require more memory.

There are also 2gb and 4gb versions which cost the same or even higher but they have slower ddr3 memory, so it’s better to stick with gddr5 as it outperforms the ddr3 Vram. You can expect 30+fps in most of the games on medium settings or if you want to play at 1080p, you have to tweak the settings a little bit to make your games run smooth. But still this is the cheapest I can recommend.

It can play all the latest games on high settings at 1080p easily and can play games like battlefield 4 on ultra. Moving from gtx 600 series, this graphics card uses the Maxwell architecture which is helpful in reducing the power consumption and increases performance per cuda core.

When the power consumption of this graphics card is compared to that of it’s rival R7 260x, we find that it consumes almost half the power as consumed by R7 260x which is also a factor deciding this gpu as a good choice. It’s price has gone down very much and you can grab it before the price goes up again.

Games like Middle Earth: shadow of Mordor and Gta V depend more on memory. The more Vram is present the more you can bump the settings. Shadow of Mordor requires more than 4gb for textures and similarly Gta V. This R7 370 is the 4gb version which has a benefit over the 2gb version as it can give you a boost in performance at higher resolutions and at higher settings.

Dynamic shadows and anti-aliasing can be bumped up to high still giving you smooth performance. This one is from Sapphire and too has a good heatsink for better overclocking. The prices are almost same right now, so better get it.

The fastest graphics card that you can buy for $150 is the Gtx 950 which is newest release from Nvidia. This graphics card is small brother of gtx 960 and can pretty well play any game at 1080p high to ultra settings with more than 50+ fps on an average.

This graphics card is best suited for a $500 gaming pc with a decent processor like Fx 6300. With 2gb of gddr5 memory and a memory clock of 6610Mhz this graphics card gives better performance than the R7 370. The only disadvantage of this card is that it’s memory interface is 128-bit which is half compared to R7 370 but rather going tough on specs we should focus on the practical performance which is faster.

The core clock is much higher than the R7 370 and can be bumped upto 1.3Ghz which can unlock insane performance.

For the processor we are using
AMD 3.5 GHz AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (FD6300WMHKBOX) Processor 
This is the best budget cpu and can give 4.1 Ghz at turbo mode.

GRAPHIC CARG

The main thing in a gaming pc is a gpu
So here we are using Asus AMD/ATI STRIX R7370 DC2 OC 2GD5 GAMING 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
It has 2 gb of gddr5 ram with 2 fan on it.

Motherboard

To use the gpu and cpu you need a good mother board so here we are using Gigabyte GA-78LMT
This is an open MB because it can support 32gb of ddr 3 memory and low, mid, and high range of amd processor. So you will not have to chage you motherboard if you want to update your processor.

Power supply unit(psu)

To power the processor and gpu we have Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU 
This 550 watt SMPS which is sufficent in overclock. For power supply it is important to be from a trusted brand because it can burn your pc or house.

RAM

To play high end games and to do multi task you need a good ram. Company is not important in this so we are using  Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB.
I opt for 1x8gb ram stick because it is less costly compair to 2 x 4gb.
 

Hard Disk

To have a collection you need a lot space so we have Toshiba 1 tb hard disk. It upto your need you can also use 2 tb hard disk. But we are making budget built we will use 1 tb.

Case
Last but not the leat case you can use any of your old case. But keep in mind that your gpu fit into it. We chose two different from cese from amazon and flipkart. You can also buy refreshed case becase it will be of less cost.
